Coordinates between the head office, site Inventory Officers, and Store Keepers to support material availability, reduce discrepancies, and enable project execution.

Inventory control and reporting
- Maintains centralized, current inventory records for construction materials and equipment across project sites.
- Monitors stock levels, consumption, and reorder needs with site Inventory Officers and Store Keepers.
- Reconciles physical stock against system records and investigates discrepancies or shortages.
- Reports material consumption rates, stock aging, variances, and inventory movement trends to management.
- Optimizes stock levels and minimizes idle or obsolete materials.
Coordination and compliance
- Forecasts material needs with procurement and project teams using project schedules and progress updates.
- Implements inventory control policies and procedures for construction site operations.
- Coordinates material returns, transfers, write-offs, supplier receipts, and site dispatches.
- Supports audits with inventory documentation and evidence of stock controls.
- Works with finance on inventory valuation and month-end and year-end stock reporting.
- Resolves issues raised by site teams or suppliers and trains or supports site inventory staff on procedures and system use.
- Ensures compliance with safety requirements for material storage and handling at the head office level.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 5 years of inventory control or material management experience in building construction or contracting companies.
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in inventory management software; ERP systems are preferred, with Oracle, SAP, and specialized construction inventory modules listed as examples.
Pay
- The posting states AED 3,000–6,000 per month.
