Senior Cost Control Engineer role covering cost control across multiple projects.
Cost control and reporting
- Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of project cost-control systems, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
- Establish Cost Breakdown Structures aligned with project WBS, procurement packages, subcontract scopes, and budget allocations.
- Review and approve project budgets, cost plans, cash flow forecasts, and cost coding structures before execution.
- Monitor committed costs, actual expenditures, accruals, forecasts, and budget consumption across projects and portfolio.
Analysis and commercial coordination
- Lead Earned Value Management, including CPI, SPI, TCPI, EAC, ETC, and variance trend analysis.
- Investigate cost variances and coordinate corrective actions with project teams to mitigate potential overruns.
- Assess cost impacts of design changes, variations, claims, acceleration measures, and scope modifications.
- Review subcontractor and supplier commitments for commercial compliance and budget alignment.
- Integrate planning, procurement, commercial, and construction data into cost forecasts and financial projections.
Preferred experience
- Ten years of high-rise building experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 18,000–24,000 per month.
