Scaffolding and Formwork Engineer

Responsibilities
- Estimate requirements using drawings, BOQs, method statements, and construction schedules; coordinate quantities, phasing, and duration with project teams.
- Place rental orders, monitor site usage against plans, identify excess or shortages, and coordinate timely returns of unused materials.
- Track materials from delivery to return; check rental periods, movement notes, and supplier invoices against actual use.
- Resolve supplier discrepancies, inspect sites, and maintain records of movements, usage, and availability across projects.
- Support tracking, issuance, reconciliation, and reporting for other construction materials; identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and project documentation requirements.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of construction project experience with direct involvement in formwork, scaffolding, or construction material control.
- Strong understanding of formwork and scaffolding systems, quantities, usage cycles, and site operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software; ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP are preferred.
