Inventory Controller

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across all retail locations.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations.
• Conduct physical stock counts and cycle counts according to company schedules.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages.
• Coordinate stock transfers between stores and warehouses.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of goods receipts, returns, and adjustments.
• Analyze inventory reports and identify slow-moving, fast-moving, and obsolete stock.
• Work closely with purchasing and merchandising teams to maintain optimum stock levels.
• Monitor shrinkage and recommend measures to reduce stock loss.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
• Prepare inventory reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and stock variances.
• Support annual stock audits and external audit requirements.
• Assist in implementing inventory management systems and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, retail operations, or warehouse management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar inventory management software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fashion, or multi-brand retail environments.
• Knowledge of barcode systems, RFID technology, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Experience coordinating inventory across multiple store locations.
• Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
