About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR & AP Executive with a strong retail background to manage end-to-end receivables and payables functions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in retail finance operations, strong reconciliation skills, and familiarity with UAE financial practices.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Manage customer accounts, invoicing, and collections
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue payments
- Reconcile customer ledgers and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with sales and store teams on credit customers
- Prepare monthly AR reports and cash flow forecasts
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and approvals
- Manage supplier payments and payment schedules
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Handle petty cash and expense verification
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
General Accounting
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist in month-end closing
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations
- Work closely with internal departments (stores, warehouse, procurement)
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in retail accounting (MANDATORY)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Accounts receivable & payable processes
- UAE VAT regulations
- ERP systems (Navision SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
