WSP is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to support a major supervision project in Saudi Arabia.
The role oversees design implementation and interior fit-out works against approved specifications, quality standards, project requirements, and client expectations.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 12 years of professional experience in interior design is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related subject is required.
- The role requires a background in construction supervision, site coordination, design management, and quality assurance for large-scale developments.
- Experience in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with local regulations, standards, and industry practices are advantageous.
- Preferred experience includes 15 or more years in architecture, interior design, and design, architectural design management, high-rise towers, and large-scale Middle East projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise interior design works and manage a dedicated team throughout all project phases.
- Coordinate with architects, lighting, MEP final fix, and other design disciplines to resolve project issues.
- Advise on materials and finishes and contribute to or approve construction interior design details.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other construction documentation.
- Maintain as-built drawings and identify discrepancies between design intent and construction documentation.
