The Inside/Counter Sales Associate is based in Simcoe, Ontario and reports to the Branch Manager.
The role builds customer relationships, answers product inquiries, maintains customer records, processes orders, and supports sales and project management teams.
What you will do
- Assist customers in person, by phone, and at the counter.
- Maintain the customer database and receive and process orders.
- Support field sales and project management teams.
- Provide high-quality customer service and help with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Support sales initiatives, build brand recognition, enhance customer experiences, and represent the corporate image.
Candidate qualifications
- 1–2 years of prior inside or counter sales experience.
- Effective communication and customer relationship-building ability.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to impart knowledge.
- Electrical or similar industry experience.
- AS400 experience is an asset.
