Infrastructure Planning Specialist (Emirati)

Overview

1

Master Planning & Development

• Prepare and review master plans for industrial zones and infrastructure developments.
• Plan land use, road networks, utilities, logistics facilities, warehouses, defense facilities, and future expansion requirements.
• Develop strategic growth plans for industrial and economic zones

2. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop project schedules using: Primavera P6, MS Project
• Track milestones, critical paths, project risks, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

3. Engineering & Design Review

• Review engineering drawings and models using: AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, 3D Ma
• Ensure designs align with master plans and infrastructure requirements
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors

4. Regulatory Compliance

• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulations is required: Abu Dhabi Building Code, Urba, Community Design Manual (UCDM), Urban Street Design Manual (USDM), Municipal Development Regulations (MDR), Estidama Sustainability Requirement

5. Defense / Military Projects

• A unique aspect of this role is involvement in: Military facilities, Defense infrastructure, Strategic government project

6. Stakeholder Management

• Work with government authorities
• Coordinate with military representatives
• Manage consultants, contractors, and internal departments
• Present planning recommendations to senior leadership

Required Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in similar role with Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, Project Management
• Knowledgeable of Abu Dhabi building code, AD regulations, UCDM, USDM, MDR, Estidama, etc.)
• Engineering software’s (3D max, Revit, GIS, CAD, etc.),
• Project Scheduling software’s (Primavera, MS projects, etc.)
• Strategic Thinker, problem solver, teamwork, adaptable, communication skills, attention to detail, graphic designing skills
• Handling and being part of the defense / military project
