Role overview

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for servicing computer PC hardware.
• Maintain software licenses and appropriate system maintenance contracts.
• Maintain inventory of computer-related supplies and logs of hardware and service calls.
• Manage system configuration records, program files, and data files.
• Monitor software performance and log reports, errors, integrity checks, malfunctions, and solutions.
• Install and test corporate-approved program changes to hotel computer systems.
• Investigate software problems and report them to vendors or regional, area, or corporate MIS offices.
• Train selected hotel employees to handle system-management responsibilities in the manager's absence.
• Maintain technical and user documentation, system reports, and newsletters.
• Prepare and distribute a monthly activities report to the Corporate Vice President of Information Technology.

Education and experience

• Degree in an information technology field.
• Previous experience in a similar role and proven knowledge across IT-related sectors.
• Excellent command of English.
• Ability to design networks and provide technical leadership.
