Import Export Manager
About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end import and export operations for international shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transport providers.
- Ensure timely customs clearance and compliance with UAE and international trade regulations.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- Customs documentation
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve logistics delays or clearance issues.
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts with logistics vendors to optimize cost.
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and finance teams for smooth material movement.
- Track inventory movement and ensure accurate logistics records and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with import/export laws, HS codes, duty structures, and trade regulations.
- Manage logistics budgets, freight costs, and KPI reporting.
- Handle insurance claims related to damaged or delayed shipments.
- Maintain strong relationships with shipping agents, customs authorities, and suppliers.
- Lead and supervise logistics team members and ensure operational efficiency.
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
