HVAC & MEP ENGINEER

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise HVAC and MEP works at project sites.
• Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire alarm, ELV, and other MEP services.
• Monitor site installation works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning, and ensure proper system handover.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site coordination conflicts.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural works.
• Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and inspection requests.
• Monitor progress and ensure MEP works meet the required schedule.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements, HSE standards, and project quality requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and assist with project documentation and handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC/MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and MEP coordination.
• Good understanding of MEP drawings, specifications, testing and commissioning, and site execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.

Preferred qualifications

• UAE experience in construction, interior fit-out, hospitality, retail, commercial, or residential projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of BIM/Revit and MS Office is an advantage.
• A UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 5,000–8,000 per month.
