Role overview

Implementation and compliance

• Maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and management systems and support QHSE strategy rollout.
• Promote safety, quality, and environmental responsibility and guide operational teams on best practices.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Plan and conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; monitor contractor compliance and support risk mitigation.

Incident management and safety

• Lead investigations of incidents, near misses, and safety observations; implement and track corrective and preventive actions.
• Communicate lessons learned and support hazard reporting programs.
• Ensure emergency plans are implemented and regularly tested.
• Develop and deliver training and support safe working environments across 24/7 operations.

Performance monitoring

• Monitor QHSE KPIs, dashboards, site and service-provider performance.
• Prepare reports on compliance, incidents, risks, and improvement initiatives; use data-driven insights to support continuous improvement.

Education and certification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent is required; Lead Auditor certification is preferred.

Experience and competencies

• Minimum 7–10 years of QHSE management experience in facilities management, infrastructure, or complex operational environments.
• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO-based management systems and supporting multi-site compliance.
• Knowledge of QHSE systems, risk assessment, incident investigation, safety auditing, compliance, contractor safety, and KPI reporting.
• Leadership, safety culture development, stakeholder engagement, communication, training, problem solving, and attention to detail.
