Resolve complex technical issues to support high-quality facilities service delivery.
Support Facilities Managers with budgets, client reporting, and management of teams on site.
Job responsibilities
- Take responsibility for technical and commercial success of assigned projects or project groups.
- Perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and mechanical systems.
- Use maintenance schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and facility information to improve service efficiency.
- Prepare equipment and asset specifications for new facilities and develop controls to address project needs and reduce costs.
- Design facility-specific control systems to coordinate activities and meet quality standards.
- Evaluate contractor and supplier performance, report improvement areas, draft plans, and follow up on actions.
- Respond to client emergencies and requests and provide a response plan to the Facilities Manager.
- Manage in-house teams working on HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, and other technical installations.
Requirements
- Engineering degree is required.
- UAE driving licence is required.
- Seven years of experience in facilities management or engineering supervision, with client management as a key aspect, is required.
- Experience with budgets and the full requirements of service delivery is required.
- Knowledge of building technical installations and health and safety regulations and standards is required.
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) is preferred.
