HSE Engineer

Overview

HSE Policy & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines across all projects.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
• Continuously review and update safety policies in line with legal and industry requirements.

Risk Assessment & Safety Audits

• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures.
• Document findings and ensure timely corrective actions are completed.

Training & Awareness

• Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings for site personnel.
• Deliver safety training programs for employees, subcontractors, and workers.
• Ensure all personnel are aware of safety procedures and emergency protocols.

Incident Investigation

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events.
• Prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

Environmental Management

• Promote sustainable and environmentally responsible practices across all sites.
• Ensure proper waste management, segregation, and disposal procedures are followed.
• Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

Emergency Preparedness

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for all project sites.
• Conduct emergency drills and preparedness training sessions.
• Coordinate with emergency services and relevant authorities when required.

Health & Well-being

• Promote employee health, safety, and wellness initiatives.
• Identify occupational health risks and implement preventive measures.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Improve HSE systems, procedures, and reporting processes continuously.
• Participate in internal safety meetings, audits, and HSE programs.

& Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of HSE experience in the UAE, preferably in landscaping or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry standards.
• Experience in landscaping and commercial construction projects preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Ability to conduct investigations and prepare detailed safety reports.
• Proficiency in HSE reporting systems and documentation tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle are mandatory.
