Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and guide People Managers on all HR matters including:
• + Performance management, including supporting training and mentoring programs and monitoring compliance
• + Communications, change management, and organizational effectiveness
• + Compensation, benefits, and global mobility
• + Wellbeing initiatives, including managing local wellness programs and annual health screenings
• + Leave, absence management, and coordination with workforce administration for return-to-work accommodations
• + Inclusion and diversity awareness and initiatives
• + Employee relations, including investigations, performance improvement, disciplinary actions, grievances, and appeals, with escalation to Employee Relations for complex issues
• + Career development, succession planning, and internal mobility
• Lead and support the rollout and delivery of HR programs in the region, contributing to continuous process improvements
• Act as the sole HR representative in certain countries, collaborating with HR colleagues across multiple locations and ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
• Provide local business insights to Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and People Partners to inform strategic workforce planning and performance management solutions
• Support People Managers and employees during restructuring activities, including planning and executing consultations and, where applicable, leading discussions with local works council representatives
• Ensure all local regulatory and statutory obligations are met, escalating issues to legal or other experts as needed
• Collaborate with People Partners and CoEs to implement best practices tailored to regional and country-specific needs
• Mentor and support peers and junior HR Managers to maintain consistent, high-quality HR service delivery
• Deputize for the Lead HR Manager as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR business partner or HR management role, preferably within a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and local employment regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism
• Experience in organizational change management and employee engagement initiatives
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple locations and cultures
