Oversees daily housekeeping staff operations in public areas to provide a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for guests.
The role manages staff attendance and task assignment, cleaning quality, inventory, safety compliance, complaints, and maintenance issues.
Responsibilities and deliverables
- Assign and monitor daily cleaning tasks and inspect public areas for cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage housekeeping staff, training, and attendance; create daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and checklists and ensure timely completion to SOPs.
- Manage cleaning materials and consumables, monitor use and stock levels, prevent stock-outs, and raise purchase requisitions at reorder levels.
- Ensure safety compliance, resolve complaints promptly, and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleaning quality, team efficiency, inventory control, and complaint resolution.
Experience and qualifications
- 2–4 years of housekeeping experience; facilities management, residential, hospitality, or commercial experience is preferred.
- Previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor or in a similar supervisory role is preferred.
- Experience managing a housekeeping team and public-area cleaning operations.
- Knowledge of housekeeping SOPs, cleaning chemicals, equipment, and inventory management.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining checklists, attendance, and inventory records.
Pay
- Pay is listed as AED 1.00–AED 2.00 per month.
