Housekeeping Attendant

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, service, and prepare guest rooms, suites and bathrooms in accordance with the hotel's luxury housekeeping standards.
• Ensure all guest rooms are maintained in immaculate condition, paying close attention to detail and presentation.
• Replace bed linens, towels and guest amenities as required.
• Replenish minibar items, room supplies and housekeeping materials as per hotel procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and housekeeping service calls.
• Report maintenance defects, safety concerns and lost-and-found items to the appropriate department.
• Maintain housekeeping pantries, storage areas and service corridors in a clean and organised manner.
• Adhere to hotel policies, health and safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
• Handle guest belongings with the utmost care, professionalism and confidentiality.
• Support deep-cleaning schedules and special housekeeping projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Housekeeping certification or hospitality training is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of housekeeping operations and luxury hotel service standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Additional language skills are considered an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Housekeeping Attendant within a luxury hotel, five-star hotel or internationally recognised hospitality brand.
• Previous experience with Marriott International properties is preferred.
• Experience working in luxury guest room environments with high service standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping cleaning techniques, chemical handling and guest room presentation standards.
• Familiarity with luxury hospitality service expectations and guest satisfaction requirements.
