Guest hosting duties
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables; guide guests through dining rooms and assist as needed.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs; provide appropriate napkins, clean silverware, and other standard place settings.
- Keep menus current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free; maintain work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
- Follow company, safety, and security procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance and communication, protect confidential information and company assets, and work positively with colleagues to support team goals and quality standards.
- The role involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
