Guest hosting and dining-room duties
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
- Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs.
- Ensure place settings are complete and menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
- Maintain work-area cleanliness using clean-as-you-go practices and monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
Work expectations
- Follow company, safety, and security procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional uniform, appearance, and communication; protect confidential information and company assets.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, respond appropriately to coworker concerns, and meet quality standards.
- The role involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking, movement over uneven or slippery surfaces, and lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds without assistance or 50 pounds with assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- Less than one year of related work experience is listed.
- No supervisory experience is listed; no license or certification is listed.
