Host or hostess position in Food and Beverage & Culinary at The St. Regis Residence, Marsa Arabia Island, Doha, Qatar.

Guest welcome and seating
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
- Guide guests through dining rooms and assist as needed.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs.
- Check place settings and ensure menus are current, clean, and presentable.
- Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest wellbeing.
Standards and teamwork
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go practices.
- Follow company and safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance; protect confidential information and company assets.
- Communicate professionally, use appropriate telephone etiquette, and support positive team relationships and shared goals.
- Meet quality standards and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is specified as required.
- No license or certification is specified.
Physical demands
- The position may require extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
