Host/Hostess position in the Food and Beverage & Culinary category at The St. Regis Residence in Doha, Qatar.

Guest service and dining-room duties
- Greet guests, determine party size, guide guests through dining rooms, and provide assistance as needed.
- Seat guests at clean, available tables and provide clean, current menus.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs.
- Ensure standard place settings have clean silverware, napkins, and other required items.
- Check menus for cleanliness, currency, quantity, and condition.
- Maintain clean work areas using clean-as-you-go practices.
- Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Standards and teamwork
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and complete required safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet quality standards.
- Communicate professionally, build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications and physical expectations
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is specified as needed.
- The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- No license or certification is listed.
