Job purpose
Safely and efficiently operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods and materials and support operational requirements.
Ensure timely deliveries, comply with traffic and safety regulations, maintain vehicles, and complete accurate documentation.
Vehicle movement and delivery
- Inspect vehicles before starting delivery or movement.
- Handle new vehicles carefully to reduce repair costs and delays.
- Load and unload vehicles on car carriers with care to avoid transit damage and follow safety norms.
- Follow delivery procedures and maintain vehicle movement records.
Equipment care and road safety
- Operate company vehicles carefully to avoid damage and minimize maintenance costs.
- Follow traffic rules and road-safety norms to prevent accidents and maintain the company’s image.
Communication
- Communicate effectively with customers and showrooms about delivery issues.
Education and experience
- High school education.
- At least five years of hands-on experience driving heavy-duty trailers.
Licences and competencies
- Must hold valid UAE No. 3 and No. 4 driving licences.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work under stress, adapt to change, and work any shift or long hours when required.
- Understands the importance of superior customer service.
- Knowledge of roadside repairs.
Languages
- Oral communication skills in English, Arabic, or Hindi.
