Job purpose
Support the Team Leader and workforce productivity to improve efficiency and profitability.
Improve logistics space utilisation and turnover to accommodate more cargo within the existing structure.
Job responsibilities
- Assist Team Leaders with day-to-day activities and arrange timely cargo receiving and deliveries.
- Complete assigned work on time and ensure delivery information entered in the WMS is correct.
- Coordinate with clients regarding delivery of goods.
- Conduct internal stock checks and cycle counts and help clients conduct interim and year-end stock checks.
- Report stock variations and product-preservation issues and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate warehouse supervisors, team leaders, tally clerks, and other colleagues; update the Warehouse Manager and Team Leaders on daily operations.
- Accelerate performance in a timely and cost-effective way.
Education and experience
- Higher secondary education or equivalent.
- Minimum two years' working experience in 3PL logistics.
Competencies and language
- Good knowledge of warehouse management systems and warehouse-floor operations.
- Good communication skills, including effective oral communication.
- Able to work under stress and adapt to change.
- Excellent English.
