Roles and responsibilities
- Safely transport equipment to site locations in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
- Maintain the service and appearance of the vehicle.
- Follow delivery and pickup instructions from the Store Manager.
- Check that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, and vehicle damage.
- Follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid and making minor repairs.
- Check trailers or trucks for damage after their contents have been unloaded.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a Heavy Bus Driver in the UAE.
- Valid UAE driving licence No. 6 is mandatory.
