Site and project responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect electrical system installation, modification, and commissioning at construction sites.
- Supervise site staff and workers; monitor, verify, and document work performed.
- Ensure designs are implemented at site, review material requisitions and submittals, and help meet contract performance measures.
- Represent the site for electrical construction quality assurance.
- Coordinate cable corridor marking, excavation, sand filling, backfilling, compaction, reinstatement, FDT, measurement sheets, and material reconciliation.
- Supervise 11–400 kV cable installation and 11–33 kV cable jointing and termination.
- Coordinate power and distribution substation design, procurement, and implementation up to 33 kV.
- Conduct cable route surveys, supervise MV and LV cable joints, and record survey reports.
- Check compliance with government, DEWA, and ADDC standards; submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Prepare timesheets for foremen and workers.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Requires 3–5 years of UAE experience in electrical design, supervision, and installation.
- Experience with DEWA is required.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
- NEBOSH certification is an advantage.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role; work location is in person.
