Experienced, service-driven Head Waiters are sought for premium restaurant concepts in Dubai.
The role leads an assigned section and maintains high standards of service and guest relations.
Guest experience and service
- Deliver personalised, attentive service and welcome guests warmly for a smooth dining experience.
- Know menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and beverages; make informed recommendations and answer questions.
- Anticipate needs, handle requests or complaints professionally, and maintain discreet relationships with regular guests.
Section management and teamwork
- Manage an assigned section and coordinate with kitchen, bar, host, and service teams.
- Ensure accurate orders and food delivery, suitable timing, and clean, ready table presentation.
- Follow service sequences, brand standards, and operating procedures.
- Support new team members, brief colleagues on menu changes and guest requirements, and lead by example.
- Assist supervisors and management in maintaining service standards.
Operational standards
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety procedures and comply with POS procedures.
- Support stock control and proper handling of service equipment.
- Follow cash handling and billing procedures where applicable.
Candidate profile
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or equivalent in upscale dining, a luxury hotel, or a premium dining concept.
- Strong knowledge of fine dining or premium casual service standards, food, and beverages.
- Fluent English is required; French, Italian, or other European languages are advantageous.
- Wine knowledge is a plus.
- Be guest-focused, organised, detail-oriented, and well-presented.
- Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
