Hands-on, floor-focused leadership role overseeing restaurant service and front-of-house operations.
Works with the Restaurant Manager to coordinate service and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Floor supervision and guest experience
- Oversee the floor before, during, and after service; coordinate sections, tables, and team assignments.
- Prepare the restaurant for service and monitor service pace, table turnover, and front-of-house/kitchen communication.
- Maintain guest-facing service standards, handle requests and complaints, and communicate special, dietary, and VIP requests.
Team and operations
- Lead briefings, supervise front-of-house staff, coach team members, and support training, onboarding, and feedback.
- Monitor service efficiency, labour allocation, POS use, order accuracy, billing, equipment, stock, and waste.
- Report operational incidents, guest feedback, and service issues to management.
Candidate profile
- Previous Floor Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Head Waiter, or equivalent supervisory experience.
- Experience in premium restaurants, upscale dining, or luxury hospitality; strong restaurant service and front-of-house operations knowledge.
- Ability to supervise teams and coordinate busy services; strong communication, leadership, guest relations, and attention to detail.
- Fluent English required. French, Italian, or other European languages are advantageous.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
