Lead the finance function across a restaurant portfolio, ensuring financial governance, accurate reporting, cash flow management, and sustainable performance.
Partner with senior management and Operations to provide strategic financial guidance, strengthen controls, and drive profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Lead finance reporting across entities and restaurants; oversee accounting, month-end and year-end close, statutory reporting, and external audits.
- Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting with FP&A; monitor profitability, operating costs, and business indicators.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury, working capital, and liquidity; ensure compliance with regulations, UAE VAT, corporate tax, and internal policies.
- Maintain financial controls, approval procedures, and risk management practices.
- Support restaurant openings, investment appraisals, and business development with financial modelling and commercial analysis.
- Partner with Operations and senior management to improve margins and cost efficiency; lead the Finance team and improve processes and systems.
Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ACCA, CPA, ACA, or CIMA qualification preferred.
- Typically 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Relevant finance leadership in hospitality, restaurants, F&B, or multi-site business strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, internal controls, and compliance; experience with multiple legal entities and senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, commercial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-growing environment; UAE or GCC experience preferred.
