Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening and opening readiness, then oversee daily venue operations and standards across service, food and beverage, and guest experience.
• Drive revenue, profitability, and business performance; manage budgets, forecasting, P&L, labour costs, inventory, purchasing, and operational costs.
• Monitor KPIs and guest feedback, implement improvement plans, and address issues affecting the guest experience.
• Recruit, coach, and develop front- and back-of-house teams and build a strong, accountable team culture.
• Engage guests and VIPs on the floor; coordinate launch activities, activations, partnerships, and events with Marketing and Events.
• Maintain service, presentation, cleanliness, and product standards; ensure compliance with health, food safety, licensing, company, and UAE legal requirements.
• Work with HR, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, and other departments to support smooth venue operations.

Qualifications

• At least three years as a General Manager in a high-end restaurant, café, lifestyle venue, or premium F&B concept.
• Strong premium and/or high-volume F&B operations experience; pre-opening experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with a recognized hospitality, lifestyle, or international F&B brand is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of premium hospitality, guest engagement, and VIP service standards, with a record of driving commercial and operational performance.
• Financial knowledge covering budgeting, forecasting, P&L, labour cost control, and cost management; experience leading large multicultural teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills; a visible, hands-on leadership style.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.

Location and type

• Full-time General Manager role in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The venue operations require an on-site leadership presence.
