Leads the valet team and oversees arrivals and departures, operational precision, and upscale guest service.
Leadership and operations
- Supervise and mentor valet staff and ensure grooming and service standards are followed.
- Coordinate shift rotas and peak-hour deployment to minimize wait times.
- Brief the team daily on VIP arrivals, hotel events, and occupancy.
- Manage traffic flow at the hotel entrance and prevent congestion.
- Ensure safe handling, parking, and retrieval of guest vehicles.
- Maintain parking logs, key security systems, and accurate damage inspection reports.
- Work with Security on driveway safety and surveillance.
Guest service and administration
- Welcome guests and anticipate needs such as luggage assistance, directions, and local recommendations.
- Handle guest complaints and vehicle concerns promptly and diplomatically.
- Represent the Pullman brand and its guest-service philosophy.
- Monitor valet equipment and supply inventory, including key tags, uniforms, and parking software.
- Ensure applicable parking fees are processed through the Front Office system.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of valet or concierge supervisory experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Valid UAE manual and automatic driving license and an accident-free driving record.
- Fluent in English; Arabic, Russian, or French is an advantage.
- Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Familiarity with property management systems such as Opera and valet tracking software is listed.
