Develop and execute strategy, drive AI adoption, strengthen data governance, and deliver measurable business and educational outcomes.
Partner with executive leadership, technology teams, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve decisions, operational efficiency, and outcomes for students and teachers.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive the Data & AI strategy in alignment with business and educational objectives.
- Lead the identification, prioritisation, and implementation of AI and generative AI use cases.
- Build a data-driven culture and help business and education teams adopt data and AI effectively.
- Lead analytics and insights initiatives, including KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
- Establish and maintain data governance, quality, privacy, and security practices.
Education technology
- Experience with School Information Systems or Management Information Systems would be highly valuable, particularly iSAMS and/or PowerSchool.
- Understand how education data can support student performance, admissions, attendance, operations, engagement, and organisational reporting.
What the employer is looking for
- 10–15+ years of experience across data, technology, analytics, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in Data & AI, with significant leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience developing and executing data and AI strategies in a complex organisation.
- Demonstrable experience taking AI initiatives from strategy through implementation to measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of data governance, analytics, data management, and emerging AI technologies.
- Experience in education, EdTech, schools, or another complex multi-site organisation.
