Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the hostess team to ensure a consistent guest experience from arrival through seating.
- Manage reservations, table allocations, guest flow, VIP arrivals, special occasions, and waiting lists with floor and management teams.
- Maintain the host stand, entrance, and guest areas to venue service and presentation standards.
- Build relationships with regular and VIP guests and handle requests, concerns, and special arrangements professionally.
- Coordinate daily reservations, table availability, guest preferences, and operational needs with restaurant management and service staff.
- Train and support hostess team members on grooming, communication, and guest-service standards.
- Monitor peak-period guest flow and coordinate with the floor team to maintain efficient operations.
- Assist management with hostess reports, reservations, guest feedback, and other operational tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Hostess, Senior Hostess, or in a similar supervisory role in an upscale restaurant, lounge, hotel, or nightlife venue.
- Strong leadership and communication skills and confidence managing a hostess team.
- Excellent guest-relations skills; warm, engaging, professional manner; and polished grooming and presentation.
- Understanding of upscale hospitality standards and ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience with VIP guests, reservations, and high-profile clientele is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of restaurant reservation systems is an advantage.
- Russian fluency is a plus.
