Role Overview
Oversee brownfield modifications and decommissioning for the Bul Hanine Redevelopment Project.
Provide construction engineering support and deliver multidisciplinary pre-shutdown, shutdown, and post-shutdown works across the PS3 complex and wellhead platforms.
Ensure compliance with the approved Scope of Work, AFC drawings, engineering design requirements, and QatarEnergy safety, environmental, and technical standards.

Role purpose
Oversee brownfield modifications and decommissioning for the Bul Hanine Redevelopment Project.
Provide construction engineering support and deliver multidisciplinary pre-shutdown, shutdown, and post-shutdown works across the PS3 complex and wellhead platforms.
Ensure compliance with the approved Scope of Work, AFC drawings, engineering design requirements, and QatarEnergy safety, environmental, and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Support fabrication, offshore mobilisation, and delivery of project construction work.
- Interface with the Assistant Manager Construction, Asset Holder, Contractor, and Senior Construction Supervisors.
- Guide supervisors and the Contractor to follow approved procedures and drawings and meet project schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Review and approve contractor deliverables and control EPIC contractor execution for safe and timely delivery.
Experience and skills
- At least 15 years supervising brownfield modifications, weight-shedding, decommissioning, and offshore hook-up projects.
- Hands-on multidisciplinary experience in pre-shutdown, shutdown, and post-shutdown activities on live production and wellhead platforms.
- Robust offshore oil and gas EPIC project experience; Company Site Representative experience is an advantage.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; computer literacy and good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environmental awareness.
- Ability to review method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules, and drawings; identify bottlenecks and suggest solutions.
- Ability to supervise a multinational and multicultural contractor workforce.
Education
- B.Sc. in Engineering or Construction Management, or a Diploma in Engineering or Petroleum Engineering, or HND/Advanced Diploma L3 (SVQ/NVQ-L3) or equivalent, plus relevant safety, quality control, and construction courses.
