Role purpose
Accountable focal point for day-to-day construction and execution of NFA greenfield and brownfield projects.
Ensures fabrication and installation follow approved scope, drawings, engineering design, safety and environmental requirements, and QatarEnergy standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Interface between the Project Manager, Asset Holder, Contractor, and Construction Team.
- Guide construction supervisors and contractors to execute work under approved method statements.
- Ensure construction activities comply with project schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 15 years of overall experience supervising EPIC projects, including offshore construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and mechanical completion.
- Experience should cover topsides, jackets, pipelines, umbilicals, and brownfield modifications.
- Robust FEED and EPIC experience and capability to review and approve contractor deliverables.
- Relevant technical expertise, multi-discipline engineering exposure, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of engineering standards, quality control, safety, environmental awareness, and review of drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans, and schedules.
- B.Sc. in Engineering from a recognized university, plus relevant courses in safety, quality control, and construction.
- Construction management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
