Role overview
Lead the coffee team and maintain high standards of coffee quality and service.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise the barista team.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of coffee and other beverages.
- Prepare espresso and brewed drinks, including latte art, to high standards.
- Monitor coffee stock, equipment, and daily inventory.
- Maintain cleaning, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and maintain beverage SOPs.
- Handle customer feedback and ensure excellent service.
- Support menu development and introduce new coffee and beverage ideas.
- Monitor wastage and ensure efficient bar operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of barista experience; previous Head Barista or Senior Barista experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso, brewing methods, and latte art.
- Leadership, communication, team training, and motivation skills.
- Knowledge of coffee equipment and maintenance; strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Pay
- AED 1,700–5,500 per month.
