Job Summary
The Hardware Asset Management Analyst supports implementation, operationalization, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management within Endpoint Services.
The role owns HAM processes, data, controls, reporting, and lifecycle performance for enterprise technology assets from planning and procurement through retirement and disposal.
The analyst partners with technology, procurement, finance, security, configuration management, and vendor teams to manage assets consistently, securely, and cost-effectively.
Hardware Asset Lifecycle Ownership
- Own asset planning, procurement, receiving, stockroom management, deployment, assignment, transfer, refresh, redeployment, return, recovery, retirement, and disposal.
- Set enterprise HAM operating standards, lifecycle controls, procedures, and cross-team ownership expectations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ownership, location, status, financial attributes, and asset relationships in ServiceNow.
- Drive inventory accuracy through reconciliation, physical and system-based validation, exception management, and corrective action tracking.
- Track warranties, leases, maintenance agreements, refresh schedules, support contracts, and end-of-life milestones.
- Ensure secure chain of custody and documented disposition of retired assets; support audits, inventory validation, compliance reviews, and evidence requests.
ServiceNow HAM Implementation and Optimization
- Participate in design, configuration, testing, deployment, operationalization, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Professional.
- Document business, data, reporting, workflow, integration, and control requirements and translate them into process designs, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support source assessment, data mapping, cleansing, normalization, migration, reconciliation, and validation.
- Help configure or validate hardware models, stockrooms, lifecycle states, receiving, transfers, refresh, reclamation, disposal, and inventory audit processes.
- Develop test scenarios and scripts and participate in integration and user acceptance testing, defect triage, release readiness, and stabilization.
- Partner with the ServiceNow platform team on architecture, advanced configuration, development, integrations, security, and upgrades.
- Support integrations with procurement platforms, endpoint management tools, discovery sources, financial systems, inventory platforms, and vendor data sources.
- Develop process documentation, work instructions, data standards, training materials, and operational support procedures; identify automation and adoption improvements.
Pay
- Starting wage is $89,348 to $127,640, plus an annual bonus.
