The Guest Services Associate is a guest-facing role supporting visits to leisure facilities.
The associate is a first point of contact, provides information, sells tickets and products, and supports safe, efficient operations.
Guest engagement and sales
- Welcome guests professionally and consider their individual needs.
- Process ticket and product sales through a computerized POS system; accept cash, vouchers, and foreign currencies.
- Balance and reconcile registers at shift start and end, remit sales, and follow cash-handling policies.
- Explain promotions, prices, shows, and attractions; upsell and cross-sell products and services.
Safety and operational support
- Manage lost-and-found services according to company policy.
- Act as a first responder, implement evacuation procedures when necessary, and participate in evacuation drills.
- Coordinate queues, operate turnstiles, and support secure guest entry and exit.
- Distribute and complete guest-satisfaction surveys using tablets and submit the data.
- Maintain operational flow and guest-facing environments across guest-services areas.
Essential requirements
- Higher secondary education or equivalent qualification.
- At least one year of operational experience in guest- or customer-service roles.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and familiarity with basic computer operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, respect for guests, integrity, and a desire to engage guests.
Desirable qualifications
- Cash-handling and POS-system experience is desirable.
- Proficiency in Arabic, Russian, Farsi, or Chinese is desirable.
