Miral Experiences seeks an experienced retail Buyer to support product development across its Abu Dhabi attractions.
The Buyer reports to the Senior Retail Buyer and owns assigned product categories from concept and sourcing through final delivery.
What you’ll do
- Own and develop assigned retail product categories and manage end-to-end product development.
- Source products, find suppliers and market opportunities, and maintain supplier and vendor relationships.
- Work with Merchandise Planning on buy plans, intake dates, and core line ordering.
- Monitor category performance, sales, stock levels, and best- and slow-selling products.
- Manage category budgets, open-to-buy, cost of goods, freight, and gross profit margins.
- Coordinate item creation, pricing, purchase orders, and visual merchandising requirements.
- Ensure UAE testing and regulatory compliance; collaborate with IP holders on licensed products.
- Identify opportunities to grow and strengthen the category.
What they’re looking for
- At least 7 years of retail buying and product development experience, including hands-on end-to-end product development.
- Supplier and vendor management experience; analytical, data-driven approach to category and product performance.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong English communication skills.
Nice to have
- GCC brand experience, licensed product or IP experience, and theme park or attraction retail experience are preferred.
- A university degree or equivalent is preferred.
