Guest Experience Supervisor (Front Office Supervisor)

Position summary

Guest and front-office operations

• Process check-ins, verify identity and payment, assign rooms, and issue room keys.
• Set up accounts, enter rewards information, verify rates and market codes, document exceptions, and review or adjust billing.
• Compile daily reports, logs, and contingency lists; complete cashier and closing reports.
• Provide directions and property information, respond to guest requests, and follow up.
• Process payments, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges; balance receipts and secure the bank at shift start and end.
• Obtain manual authorizations, follow accounting procedures, and notify Loss Prevention or Security about guest theft reports.

Team, safety, and service standards

• Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first contact for fair-treatment concerns.
• Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Follow company policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, complete safety training, and protect confidential information and company assets.
• Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, answer telephones appropriately, and maintain quality standards.
• Use computers and POS systems; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• No license or certification is specified.

Workplace

• The position is not remote and is based at the specified Dubai hotel location.
