Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties supporting Sales & Marketing, including filing, emails, typing, faxing, and copying.
- Prepare sales documents such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders; promote brand awareness and assemble promotional information packages.
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify sales-process information such as commissions, leads, and third parties in relevant software.
- Answer guest questions about property facilities and services, including rates, rooms, packages, promotions, restaurants, and events.
- Serve as a client point of contact and respond to questions and requests by phone and email.
- Follow company policies; maintain professional appearance; protect confidential information and company assets.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, communicate professionally, prepare accurate documents, and use appropriate telephone etiquette.
- Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, respond to employee concerns, and meet quality standards.
- May move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance; perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
