Guest Experience Supervisor in Rooms and Guest Services Operations at Aloft Hotels, Baniyas Road, Deira, Dubai.

Guest and front-desk operations
- Process check-ins, verify identity and payment, assign rooms, issue keys, and set up guest accounts and rewards information.
- Check rates and market codes, document exceptions, secure payments, verify billing, process charges, and balance receipts.
- Compile daily reports, logs, and contingency lists; complete cashier and closing reports.
- Provide directions and property information, accommodate guest requests, contact staff as needed, and follow up.
- Count and secure the bank, obtain manual authorizations, follow accounting procedures, and report guest theft reports to Loss Prevention or Security.
Team and service standards
- Assist with training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees; model fair treatment and support team goals.
- Build positive working relationships, listen and respond to employee concerns, and help maintain quality standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests.
- Use professional language and telephone etiquette; prepare and review documents accurately and use computers and POS systems.
- Follow policies, protect confidential information and company assets, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
Physical requirements
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Work arrangement
- Located at the Aloft Hotels property on Baniyas Road in Deira, Dubai; the position is not remote.
