Contracts & Commercial Management
- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of contract
- Ensure contracts are legally compliant and commercially favourable
- Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties meet their obligations and KPI
- Manage and resolve contract disputes and claims effectively
Strategy & Risk Management
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goal
- Identify and manage commercial risks in contracts and project
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and business opportunities.
Financial & Performance Management
- Manage budgets related to contracts and commercial operation
- Ensure cost control and strong financial performance
- Oversee performance reporting and commercial tracking
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policy
- Apply proper contract standards (e.g., FIDIC, QCS, and other relevant forms
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial and contracts tea
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholder
- Support business growth and operational efficiency
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong international commercial background
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; professional chartership preferred
- Strong experience with contract forms such as FIDIC and other bespoke agreement
- Knowledge of contract and tender procedures and Qatar Construction Specifications (QC
- Extensive experience in large, complex commercial negotiation
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and contract law.
