Role overview
Supports the Security Controller in delivering security operations across Dubai Hub Airport and Cargo Operations.
Helps protect aircraft, cargo, airport facilities, and associated operational areas in the UAE.
Works with operational teams, government authorities, and other stakeholders to support secure, compliant operations.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor security measures across airport operations, aircraft, gates, entrances, and controlled areas in line with approved SOPs.
- Monitor cargo security procedures, identify violations or breaches, escalate findings, and recommend corrective action.
- Support aircraft protection through pre-departure and post-arrival security activities.
- Assist with Airport and Cargo Operations incident response, escalation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Identify non-compliance and support corrective and preventive measures.
- Apply approved SOPs and propose operational improvements to security effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.
- Coordinate with government and private-sector partners on security operations and incident response.
- Support security personnel through operational guidance, training, and sharing security best practices.
Required qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or honours degree (12+3 or equivalent).
- At least five years of security experience.
- Experience in aviation security, including cargo security and loss prevention.
- Experience in a leadership role.
Advantageous qualifications and experience
- Professional or academic qualifications in Aviation Security (AVSEC) are an advantage.
- Planning skills, preventative security measures, rapid incident coordination, and team training experience are advantageous.
- Keeping pace with current security practices and technologies is advantageous.
