Role overview
A Senior Security Agent in Group Security monitors flights and inspects passenger travel documents to identify potentially inadmissible passengers across the Emirates network.
The role supports compliance with regulations, Group Security policies, and international security standards while helping safeguard cargo, personnel, and assets.
Responsibilities
- Assess security intelligence on inadmissible passengers and coordinate checks and staffing for high-risk flights.
- Use reservation systems to review passenger profiles and inform the Security Coordinator before gate checks.
- Inspect travel documents for discrepancies or suspected forgeries and escalate concerns.
- Coordinate movement and repatriation arrangements with consulates and embassies, including alternate routes, accommodation, or deportation.
- Conduct security surveillance and spot checks at check-in, ramp and mishandled-baggage areas, on cabin crew, and in other designated locations.
- Prepare incident reports for management review.
Required qualifications
- 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of airline, general security, or security operations experience.
- Fluent spoken and written English and a valid UAE driving licence.
- Investigative qualities, good incident recall, confidentiality, and decision-making ability.
Advantageous qualifications
- Aviation security experience and Microsoft Word and Excel experience are advantageous.
- Customer and interpersonal skills are advantageous due to sensitive passenger interactions.
- Arabic or other European languages such as French, German, or Italian are advantageous.
