General Manager of Oil and Gas Development Project

About This Role

Job Responsibilities

1. Overall Project Planning and Strategy Formulation

Lead the overall development plan for the oil and gas field/block (including technical routes, implementation steps, investment calculations, etc.).

Adjust project development strategies and phased goals in a timely manner based on changes in oil prices, resource endowments, and policy environment.

2. Investment and Operational Target Management

Participate in project investment demonstrations, economic evaluations, and major decisions, providing professional opinions and risk warnings.

Be responsible for the project's production targets, cost targets, cash flow, and return on investment, and promote the achievement of annual and medium-to-long-term operational goals.

3. Engineering Construction and Production Operation Management

Coordinate the implementation of drilling and completion, surface engineering, gathering and processing, and facility construction, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule.

Organize production operation management, continuously improving recovery rate, single-well efficiency, and overall operational efficiency.

Promote process technology optimization and digital application to improve intelligent management levels.

4. External Cooperation and Coordination

Represent the project in communication and coordination with partners, government departments, local governments, and communities; participate in contract and major business negotiations; and safeguard the company's interests.

5. Team Building and Risk Control

Establish and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, develop performance and incentive mechanisms, promote risk identification and response, and accumulate project management experience.

Job Requirements

1. Education Background: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Petroleum Engineering, Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation, Geological Engineering, Engineering Management, or related fields.

2. Work Experience: Over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, over 5 years of overall management experience in large-scale oil and gas field/block development projects, with complete project lifecycle experience.

3. Professional Skills: Familiar with oil and gas development technology and engineering management, proficient in project economic evaluation and cost control, and possess experience in large-scale project management and HSE management.

4. Comprehensive Abilities: Possess strategic vision and a holistic perspective, decisive decision-making, strong execution ability, and excellent cross-disciplinary and cross-organizational coordination and communication skills.

5. Other Requirements: Ability to use English as a working language. Strong safety and compliance awareness, able to adapt to harsh environments and on-site work, aligned with Anton culture, and possess a strong sense of responsibility and dedication.
