Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our automotive garage team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting practices within the automotive service industry, including handling parts inventory, job costing, and service-related financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor and record all financial transactions related to garage services and spare parts sales
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and maintain accurate financial records
- Handle payroll processing and staff expense tracking
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
- Track inventory costs for spare parts and ensure proper valuation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and VAT requirements
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes when required
- Assist with data entry of invoices, receipts, and payments
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes
- **Requirements:**
- Must having in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the automotive or garage industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
- Familiarity with inventory management and job costing systems
- Knowledge of VAT and local financial regulations
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
