About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced **General Accountant** to join our trading company in Dubai.
The ideal candidate should have solid accounting knowledge, UAE trading company experience, and strong coordination skills.
Candidates with logistics and import/export knowledge will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
- Prepare invoices, payment follow-ups, and financial reports
- Assist with VAT-related documentation and reporting
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, logistics, and sales teams
- Monitor inventory costing and shipment-related expenses
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years UAE experience in a trading company
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial terms
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Fluent in Hindi and English
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of logistics, shipping, import/export documentation, and trading terms is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience in consumer electronics or general trading industry
- Familiarity with logistics coordination and shipment costing
- Immediate joiners preferred
