Functional Analyst
Role Overview

Role overview
Six-month contract-to-hire role supporting North American financial systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
Works with the Product Manager, business stakeholders, and technical teams on implementation, stabilization, and ongoing product support.
Candidates should be located in the Lower Mainland for occasional onsite work in Vancouver, BC.
Responsibilities
- Support Dynamics 365 implementation, maintenance, module configuration, and testing.
- Facilitate business discussions about UAT, end-to-end processes, SDLC, and product rollouts.
- Monitor and respond to help-desk requests; coordinate ongoing product support and issue resolution.
- Test integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party tools, and maintain procurement, invoicing, and expense applications.
- Document requirements, analysis, design, development, test plans, and financial-report maintenance.
- Follow SDLC processes, develop training documentation, and support quality assurance.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement across products and processes.
Required skills and qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel with pivot tables, formulas, macros, and VBA.
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, and training materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication and a proactive, solution-focused customer service orientation.
Assets
- Intermediate knowledge of querying relational data using Microsoft SQL Server is an asset.
- Functional Analyst or similar experience supporting a mid-market ERP, documenting functional requirements, business processes, and integrations, is an asset.
- SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365, Cognos TM1 or BI, Coupa, Concur, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps experience are assets.
