What you will do

• Translate complex requirements into maintainable, scalable, well-documented code; design, develop, and maintain applications.
• Implement AI-powered features and optimize algorithms, data usage, and cloud services for latency, availability, and cost.
• Debug issues, review code and designs, write tests, implement observability, and follow build and deployment practices.
• Join the on-call rotation and own production issues through root-cause analysis, resolution, and prevention.
• Collaborate across functions, mentor junior engineers, and support team AI upskilling.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience; typical qualifications include five or more years of relevant experience or a combination of experience and advanced education.
• Production experience shipping AI-enabled features, including model-driven decisions, anomaly detection, forecasting or optimization, or LLM-powered experiences, plus MLOps.
• Proficiency in at least one modern framework or language; Java is an example.
• Experience leading projects from architecture to production and maintaining high technical standards.
• Expertise in at least one relevant area: fintech, distributed systems, databases, security, or front-end.
• Financial-data security, privacy, and compliance knowledge, including encryption, least privilege, secrets management, auditability, and AI safety.
• Git and DevOps experience, including CI/CD; leadership, cross-functional influence, and engineer mentoring.

Bonus qualifications

• Self-directed technical work and effective project scoping.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers, and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior fintech, billing or analysis systems, or large-scale anomaly detection or optimization work.
• Hands-on production experience integrating LLMs, RAG pipelines, model evaluation, or anomaly detection.
