FM Engineer (Facilities management engineer)

Location and work arrangement

• The role is based in Abu Dhabi; candidates must be based there or willing to relocate before joining.
• Work location is in person.

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor PPM and reactive maintenance schedules, adhering to SLAs and KPIs.
• Inspect sites, assess technical needs, diagnose structural or MEP issues, and produce snag lists and inspection reports.
• Prepare BOQs, estimates, pricing, quotations, scopes of work, and completion reports.
• Direct technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver safe, timely, high-quality maintenance work.
• Manage material, equipment, and manpower resources and maintenance budgets.
• Ensure HSE, client procedure, utility, and civil defence compliance.
• Communicate with clients and property stakeholders, resolve technical escalations, and provide progress updates.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years in facilities management operations handling PPM, reactive maintenance, civil/MEP works, site estimation, and commercial BOQ preparation.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or MEP Engineering with MOHESR attestation.
• Proficiency in BOQs, pricing models, quotations, and engineering drawing reviews using AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Fluency in English; Arabic and/or Malayalam proficiency is highly preferred.
• Leadership and client-facing skills for coordinating maintenance teams, subcontractors, and property stakeholders.
• Must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate before joining; a UAE driving license is preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
